- I was looking for another child view mirror to replace the one I was using (an Eddie Bauer one from Target). The previous mirror allowed for forward/backward and side-to-side adjustments based on a hinge and swivel set-up, but the forward/backward hinge wore out after a few months; whenever I would accelerate or brake while driving in normal conditions (i.e. no jack-rabbit starts or short stops), the mirror would swing forward and backward and my son would no longer be in view -- annoying, needless to say. This mirror works great for us. It was super easy to install and once I have the mirror set to where I want it, is rock-solid. While its reflection isn't crystal clear, it is more than clear enough and is on par with all the other safety mirrors I have seen and used. I highly recommend it, and for the price, isn't it worth a try?

Eddie Bauer Deluxe Convertible Car Seat, Granite

Buy Cheap Eddie Bauer Deluxe Convertible Car Seat, Granite at Amazon.com Order New!

Dispite other reviews, I am pleased with this seat. It was a little difficult to get ready for the car, but what baby item isn't. I have no problem with the buckle or straps at all. My son is 10 months and weights over 24lbs so we have it installed facing backwards with the latch system. Despite him being heavy, it doesn't tilt, even on sharp turns, like our old evenflo carseat did. We did put a towel underneat the carseat since our seats are really slanted so it would recline more but we have had to do this with all our car seats. Finally, I love that the seat is wide. My son looks very comfortable in it and falls asleep almost everytime we get in the car!! you can get them cheapest on Amazon through this link.

Eddie Bauer Deluxe Convertible Car Seat, Granite Feature

Eddie Bauer Deluxe Convertible Car Seat, Granite Overview

Eddie Bauer Deluxe Convertible Car SeatGreat for long road trips, the Deluxe Convertible Car Seat features an adjustable back support for complete comfort out on the open road.  As a convertible, it can be used all the way from baby through youth!  It starts off as a rear-facing infant car seat, converts to a forward-facing car seat and then transitions to a belt-positioning booster seat for older children.

Wosrst car seat on the market - do your research!!! - Jeff Cantrell - Lakewood Ranch, Florida
I bought one of these car seats because quite honestly it looked and measured to be the most compact, hence the "best" seeming fit for my rear-facing car seat needs. I've bought a bunch of other Eddie Bauer accessories and found the quality to be pretty good, so I went with my instinct and made the purchase for 9 at Target. After installing this in the back of my Mazda CX9 (by no means a small vehicle) the car seat would not stay in position and jostled out of alignment time and time again. No matter how hard I tried or how diligent I was with the latch system, the seat would not stay in position...very very dangerous for your baby. Also notable is that the seat is 100% plastic and very cheap feeling. There's an "adjustable" stand that makes it convert from rear to forward facing, but it does a horrible job at keeping this unit in place. Lastly I should note that the child has zero protection in this seat...my little girl is only 9 months and 18 lbs, yet she seemed like a giant in the seat and you could see she was fully exposed. We decided to go with a different unit...evenflow has an awesome new one that rivals a britmax safety wise. Take a look at that one...or any other one, but do yourself a favor and don't buy this...you'll just end up returning it.
